The stuff of life comes at you from all angles,
it never tells you when it’s going to come. -
Our regal flag drapes over dampened wood,
slow solemn march guides to a place of rest. -
I wake to find you sleeping on my breast,
your gentle breathing duets with this heart,
My Poetry
-
Beyond our pink horizon green fronds play in the breeze,
and dainty orange blossom dance in the wind to tease. -
Goodbye is not forever, farewell is just adieu,
there’s not one thing will sever the bond we have with you. -
A day like any other it would seem,
the sky maybe could be a little bright,

Ellis : My wife, Linda, worked in the State of Georgia University Library on August 6for nearly 40 (I think) years. We are Christians, have a beloved dog, and Linda loves to sing, walk outdoors, and to read. She, too, also writes poetry. (We also have a REAL Tiki Cat living with us!) My wife, Linda, reads all the time that she isn't cooking or gardening, - but if she ever gets around to getting on here, YOU will undoubtedly be the first person here in AP that she would like to contact. --Ellis

ea on March 18Oh my! I see you are a Westie lover - what a cutie. That's the kind of dog my mom has. (My sister had one for quite a while, too, as well as a Jack Russel, but now she has a cairn terrior)
