Where I will be is in His plan
Where I’ve been has made a man
In this moment living fully
Words do little to describe me
I go beyond what actions show
So many things cause me to grow
Hidden out of what your eyes see
My heart breaks for the hurting soul
I find peace in helping others
I know I have many brothers
And sisters who keep my life full
Jesus is my Savior and Lord
My life is in debt to His love
Striving to set my eyes above
I will tell of this life restored
With a bit of tea in my cup
I am content to question life
Cutting through the lies like a knife
I try to fill my poems up
I like to hear others story
Even if they are a bit odd
It lifts me up to hear of God
When one tells our hope in Glory
Never assume who I am first
There is often much I will hide
If you listen I will confide
And I will help you in the worst
So take the time to hear me out
I will open my heart to you
Then a friendship will pull us through
And we can see what life’s about"
