Why I Need Jesus
I need Jesus because He is Lord. Without Him, I'd be eternally lost because of sin. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Where I will spend eternity, either in heaven, or in hell, depends on who I believe Jesus is--or isn't. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). It is only because Jesus died for my sins, and His Father raised Him from the dead, that I now have eternal life.

Orual on February 20, 2007I see that you are also a fan of Paradise Lost. Such a brilliant poem. It takes me about ten minutes just to work through a page, but it's well worth it. Keep on writing great poetry.
