Mother of badness
Artfully blessed
Lover of madness
Musicly obsessed
Avidly expressive
Devoted to the end
Rarely oppressive
Everyone’s friend
My name is...

...I aspire to be a poet
Possibly eccentric- a bit of a recluse
Certainly artistic- I love music, art and poetry.
Especially music with meaningful lyrics.
I would love to create something memorable that
might inspire others before my life is through,
something worth leaving behind, perhaps a
painting or something I have written. I am sure that we all hope for fame....
I am working on a book which will be titled
"A Girl from Sugar Creek" although it has been much neglected lately. I was so impressed
with the writings of Charles Frazier,
the author of "Cold Mountain" and "Thirteen Moons"
that I began an endeavor of my own.
I want to thank Ariosto for introducing me
to the allpoetry site, he was my art instructor
not quite a lifetime ago. I love nature and the
beauty of this earth and the creatures
that inhabit it...
even people too....
laugh out loud...smirk in silence

written words shall fall from the page
spoken words we won’t comprehend -
my addiction doesn’t come in cartons
small square packs wrapped in cellophane -
blankets of blooms in the spring
covers her hollows and hills

ticket2write : Hello, Patricia on August 6I just read your comments under Thomas Scott's poem, "My People," and was compelled to check out your profile. You are a lovely lady and an inspiring poet. If I lived in Georgia, or you lived here in Arkansas, I would pick you up, take you to lunch and we would both enjoy the day, chatting and laughing. Nobody as nice a you should be sitting home talking to the dog...Well, the dog needs to hear a friendly voice, too.
