Halloween Knight

Halloween Knight
The Halloween party was going strong,
monsters were mashing and singing a song.
Bobbing for apples, I stuck in my head,
missed the apple and got wet instead.
Dressed as a princess all by myself,
I danced with a devil a prince and an elf.
Then out of no where a knight did appear,
said, May I have the next dance my dear?
Well I got all flustered and turned beet red,
made my heart flutter the words he said.
Holding me close, I started to wonder,
his mask was lose, should I peek under.
We danced all night till the party ended,
a knight and princess we both pretended.
Witches screeching, wolves were howling
all hallows eve was a night for prowling.
He became my knight in shining armor,
mysterious, sweet and quite a charmer.
Walked me home in the dead of night,
his sword swaying, in the moonlight.
Trying to kiss me, quite the task,
he decided to remove his mask.
Finally my love was there by my side,
he no longer had a reason to hide.
The magic of the moonlight kicked in,
sweet kisses began to make my head spin.
Halloween magic, has let love unfold,
the lovely princess and her knight so bold
i really love my AP mom for writing this poem!
