Hello all.
I am Krystal. I am not sure how people actually read these but I thought that I would change and write something about myself. Honestly, I don't consider myself very open, the only way I am open is through my writing. I joined All Poetry because I thought it would be a great way to get somewhere in life, maybe not anywhere huge but it's one step closer. My writing, I would not consider amazing, it still needs work. I consider Rossetti, W.H. Auden, Charles Bukowski amazing poets along with some others.
I am only in high school, almost graduating, which I am pleased about. I know I sound like an ungrateful human being when I say "I hate school" it's not that I don't want to attend school, it just that certain school that I do not enjoy.
I don't enjoy being labeled, my friends consider me the emo asian girl, but they say that to spite me. I absolutely do not enjoy girls in tight shirts, tight jeans, wanting to grab everyone's attention. I don't understand why people can't be themselves, especially in society today. I dislike people in general, but I think that's only because I misjudge them because some people are really amazing. But rest be assured, if I say I hate people, once I get to know them, I'll enjoy the company.
I am 16. I do like writing. I am looking for an oppurtunity. I will take constructive critisim, but I will criticize you back. I enjoy meeting other poets because I believe that people can get along through writing and give other people ideas.
I think that poetry is the link which bonds poets and nature and everyone together, it's a little over-exaggerated but I love the idea. Poets release their inner selves to the world and in return, we receive love and compassion for ourselves.
