UPDATE
Hey everyone! To celebrate the new year of 2006 I have gone through and cleaned out my account, delecting a whole lot of poem except newest or favourites Also I thought a new Profile background was in need, and my new liking to Mocca Cino's call upon this one!
Anyway, hope your having a nice day and may you all have a great year!

____________________________________________________________________

My name is Annie.

Yes.

I’d like to be able to tell

You about myself.

Who I am.

What kind of person I am.

I could tell you

My passions in life.

About my friends.

My family.

My dog.

My favourite food and favourite colour.

You know, all those answerable questions

That determines whether I’m normal.

But I won’t

I could tell you my deepest,

Darkest secret.

Or share my fears and thoughts.

Tell you about my love life.

Latest Crush.

Lover.

Affair.

Heart break.

But I won’t.

I could look you directly in the eye

And desperately cry to your face

That I’m not a bad person.

But would that stop you from judging me?

Would all this stop you from thinking

You know me and how I feel?

Maybe you do?

But if all I had was a

Heart of mending pieces,

And a flame inside my soul

Would you still look at me the same?

Can you still look at me the same?

All I have, need, want is freedom.

Now stop pulling me down,

If you love me enough

You’ll fly along with me.

Wow, I really envy you, I would love to meet Steven Herrick. Unfortunately he hasn't visited my highschool since I've been there, I was just be lucky to come across his books a few years ago and fell in love with his writing.

    Thankyou for your encouragement.

    Take care,

i was very pleased to see on your author's page that Steven Herrick is your favourite poet. Did he come to your school & read his poetry & inspire you? Did you take one of his poetry workshops? I met him in the early 1980's & he helped me become a professional poet.

anyway i enjoyed reading your love poem today. she show great promise with your clear flowing language and your eye for the evocative detail. keep up the good work.

best wishes on your poetry quests,
    myron.
