I only tend to write poetry when I have something to say (which is why there are some big gaps between the dates I've written on!), I would never claim to be amazing but I enjoy getting my feelings out on paper and the satisfaction of seeing my finished work on the screen, as well as the feeling of getting a nice comment!
I always try to look on the bright side and most of my poems are quite happy, I figure, life sucks enough without me needing to tell everyone about it all the time!
Other than writing, I'm really into music, I try not to let it influence the way I write too much but sometimes its impossible! I especially like my singer-songwriters and anything with good piano.
