Not much to tell I guess I never actually sit down and plan to write, if so it never usually works. All my poems come to me at the randomest times then I just write them. Sometimes I couldn't even tell you what there about, but mostly they express some emotion I am feeling at the time. I normally try to make my poems rhyme but I am recently trying my hand at free verse. I look forward to reading everyone else's poetry and hearing comments about my own.
"My gripe is not with the lovers of the truth,
but the truth herself. What succor, what consolation
is there in truth, compared to a story?
What good is truth, at midnight, in the dark,
when the wind is roaring like a bear in the chimney?
What you need are the plump comforts of a story.
The soothing, rocking safety of a lie."
