Beret55 : Charlene on July 25, 2007
Once she danced along through life,
the sun was always in her skies.
Laughter sought and laughter found,
and love was in her eyes.
And then one day a devil came ,
and stole her life it seems.
He took from her a loving heart,
and a void where once were dreams.
Now she lives in a darkened prison,
one she has built inside her mind.
She hides there from a happy world,
she thinks she’ll will never find.
If I could only become a window,
so sunlight could seep in.
And let her see a happy world ,
so a new life could began.
And once more see her smiling face,
with love light in her eyes.
And see her hair blowing in the wind,
that would be my greatest prize.
