One warm sun,
Hung above a majestic tree.17 lines, 1 comment, on Apr 10 2:53 PM. In Nature -
When hopelessness takes her hand,
She dances with the rain. -
A field of wild flowers, petals draped with dew,
the sky now clear, suffused with shades of blue. -
Salt on lips with a tinge of tequila and lime,
everything at this moment frozen in time. -
Branches reaching to the heavens,
basking in the warm amber haze, -
Now tranquil waters---
dark and nefarious to the eye, -
In vast shades of blue,
engulfed in endless motion -
Breathtakingly cold to sensual warmth,
tantalizing to the skin -
chances
are very good -
The smell of burning timber
unmistakable to the senses, -
In the bright sun I shade my eyes staring into deep blue,
shells whispering sweet nothings at my feet start to accrue. -
Walking among the lines of reality
taking in the pungent smell of cut grass -
They reach for the sun
bathing in the glowing rays -
The sun absent from the cool morning sky,
washed out by misty spring showers14 lines, 2 comments, on Jun 11 6:17 PM

In the humid summer air
they flirt with danger; -
The wind whistles through evergreens
muffled by frozen droplets of water -
Moonlight reflects off the ripples of dark water
waltzing its way to the shore, -
-
When will the tears stop, my love?
For your amber blush seems to be lost, -
-
These days
are sweltering -
Autumn
with burning leaves -
Wishes come true
if you dare to make your wish, -
-
-
Apocalyptic clouds
march across burning skies, -
The heavy door swings open with a creak
a dusting of snow blows in across the shiny wooden floor, -
Tall and proud, the sunflower stood
soaking in the smoldering cheddar wheel sun, -
Beneath the mirrored surface of jade waters
sunlight thickens the soupy world, -
Dark napalm skies ooze
Springtime ink in a song heard -
Stir the bitter lemonade sky
with apprehension, -
The gentle sway of brittle stalks
hiss in the blowing wind, -
Clutch the Earth-
cradle it in the hands of unity, -
Under a crown canopy of burning shades,
you stand tall -
Invigorating
to those once broken, -
-
Beautiful daisies,
how could it be that your petals predict -
The twilight seems serene,
much how I always expected it;
