I’ve waited here within these words
my outstretched hand take hold. -
Parched and left un-watered, written-off as fruitless dream.

Never more to hear her name
Nor know her destination
There is a secret long since I have kept -
From sleep,
I reach beside. -

And sped towards the moon -
Shy flame on a candle giggles nigh;
to flare a spark within my eye.

yet dear she loved the boy.
