Desert winds bled you dry.
Retreating forest eviscerated, forsaken. -
Dew swept meadow mornings first light,
each blade of grass distinct in its own splendor. -
|” I want you to yearn for me long,
long after I have forgotten you. “ -
what lies in quiet
that moment when you sense -
for me, love has no chronological limits

forfeited, now spent. -
The pale riders kept coming,
forcing the Deni far into the desert -
as moth to flame
your love draws me through time -
Cadence two; writing on my eye lids
