The poetry in this list has been dedicated to me by other poets on this site 
I want to thank them for these words - they mean the word to me!
Just to start this list off, a poem written for me by my partner Joel in 2007:
Skin of gold, and eyes of brown,
a refreshing smile, that can raise a frown,
an ego so large, as for all of the masses,
the occasional curse, for her forgotten classes.
Her feet with no shoes, all covered in dirt,
the childlike love, of a swooshy new skirt,
a coy little smile - the cheeky at play,
with a furious wave as she goes her own way.
The haiku it does go five, seven then five,
don't mess it up, or she'll eat you alive,
a spontaneous creature, so stay on your toes,
what move she'll make next, not even she knows.
A shining young lady, you'll be wishing would stay,
and a poem for her, on this Valentines Day.
