    ummmm... isn't an acrostic where the first letter of each line spells out a word? like:

    C andy is yummy!
    A nd I like candy corn the best!
    N oone likes candy more than i do!
    D reams of candy fill my sleep!
    Y es! I love candy corn!

    C andy corn is yellow and white and
    O range. Those are my favorite colors!
    R eturning to the bag, i dig some more out.
    N o! the candy corn is all gone!

    lol. i luv 5 minute poetry.

    anyway it's a good comparison.
