The way you walk, or sit, or stand,
Everything about you, to me, is grand. -
For what I have there is no cure,
There may be a name, I’m not sure. -
A deserted Island far away
I dreamed of being on one day -
If you only knew how my heart did ache When you appear to elude me.

She wore white so pure and bright
Held roses from her betroth -
Early in the morning when darkness abides
I awake, and in my mind there resides -
Along a strand of beautiful shore,
Where the sand encounters the sea, -
I'd love to spend a day with you
And make it last a lifetime. -
Sitting and thinking of things I adore,
Nothing could possibly please me more -
This poem was inspired by a friend. We broke up, of course.

I miss you more than you would know
All because I love you so -
He held her hand, and into her eyes
He peered with his eyes gleaming. -
I don’t love you for your beautiful eyes.
But looking at them tend to mesmerize. -
On a beautiful, clear and starlit night
They walked by the light of the moon.
