I’m the keeper of the waterfall inside this magic land
protection is my duty day and night, -
Just close your eyes and let the sound of water clear your mind
as you sit beneath a willow in the shade; -
was their love
as fragile as the frame -
The Autumn mist lay all around
a scene transformed before the eye -
The sun had fled the sky before the storm.
she stood upon the quayside in the gloom -
Daddy asked me if I'd come
and help to clear the weeds, -

The lantern swings above the door
on this a night in May, -
As you grow old you’ll find that things are never as they seem
and life for you may soon become a trial, -
cereal and toast,
always cereal and toast -

watching the dust glisten, -
this is ...
... my place -
I spy a little angel running barefoot in the sun
her wings are gently ruffled by the breeze, -

The Rhino is a handsome hawk
he floats up in the sky -
She sits in semi-darkness in the corner of the room
the atmosphere is silent and so still, -

The silent shifting sands that burn beneath the desert sun
a route from East to West was surely laid, -
To wake upon a Winters morn and see the landscape white
the snow has transformed every single tree, -
As the father of the bride he knew just what to do
but today he found the tables had been turned, -
The words still echo in her thoughts as though she were a child
his voice is ever present in her mind, -
innermost feelings
and emotions -
Leaving work at 8.15 she knew there was a risk
for it was late, the car park dark, her walk was rather brisk, -
She sat by the open window
a sigh of despair left her lips -
The fluorescent light was too harsh
the plastic cloth too bright, -
An Autumn mist now settles on the town
and dewdrops kiss each tiny blade of grass, -
Stand and wonder at the beauty that the Winter season brings
the starkness of the colder, shorter days, -
My favourite toy just has to be my cuddly Mr. Bear
he’s never left my side in all these years, -
His eyes had seen so many years, all time was trapped within
the pain and joy he felt throughout his life, -
Now every bubble blown by her sweet lips
will trap a dream within for all to see, -
Have you ever kissed a snowflake

I need to get some air, -
The mighty storm has rumbled by

A Step Through Time
To step into my garden is to take a step through time -
You’re not sure how it happened
but life just passed you by, -
R ays of liquid golden sunlight

She sits and she dreams of the day he’ll return
the man who ran off with her heart. -
He sits in his chair all alone in his room
a blanket to cover his knees, -
My garden is the place for me it fills my every need,
to sit beneath my shady tree with poetry to read. -
She stands…waiting
they know her here -
Like sheep to the slaughter they come in their masses,
The train a transporter to evil morasses, -
Welcome, won’t you join me
this is just the spot to write, -
Here beneath this earthy sod
lies a man who’s name was Todd -
