This is a new form of the sonnet that I invented and named after my maternal lineage of the Vaughan family who came over from Wales to Rhode Island in 1643. It makes some use of near or half rhyme (the first poet in the English language to use this was Henry Vaughan) and has what normally is the final couplet coming after the first quatrain, in the 5th and 6th lines.
You can take the class I offer on the metaphysical poets and learning to write the Vaughanet and the wreath here.

I love sonnets, and am always happy to try out what they call "unconventional" sonnet-forms ...
gratitude to your ancestors for this precious gift ...
