The poems in my “58 degrees North” series were composed, or at least written down in embryonic note form, in the far North West of Scotland, during a week in July 2008. Some of them became part of my portfolio entry for the Manchester Poetry Competition 2008, and those will not be posted here until that competition is over. Several of them have been written for or about other AP Poets.
