It's not often that I collaborate with a poet because I feel a bit intimidated and insecure about my writings mixed with the words of others. But, there are some very talented and special poets on this site that I adore and am glad that we got the chance to work together.
My first collaboration was with the poet "InvisibleMan". I miss Dan's presence on the site but thoroughly enjoyed our union in working on a poem together. I do believe that poem has been removed from this collection but I'll do my best to unearth it from my documents.
I hope you enjoy and if you do comment, please feel free to let the other writer know how you felt after reading our joint effort.
Thanks
Renee

How can we point the finger?
How can we criticize?
-
Like we get weapons of mass destruction
and plane loads of coke with kids in prison.
-
I got mad love for 'em though, they got my heart
They can't know where they going if they don't know their start -
But fear not, though lessons taught,
we ignore the natural desire for revenge; -
seemed like there were rustlings
in the dark corners, neath sconces
