These are poems I have written about or for my four sons. I love them all so dearly and always will.

A tear silently
cascades down my face26 lines, 15 comments, on Aug 27 3:17 PM 2007. In Life, Hope, Love, Personal, For Josh and George my two sons
-
I tied a yellow ribbon for you today.
You are so far away. -
Three and a half months early,
as I screamed in labor and delivery. -
My four boys are different you see,
-
I got the call today
from my son so very far away. -
Moonbeams fall across the floor.
As I think of you once more. -
As I grasp your tiny hand
and look into your eyes of blue -
As Christmas approaches
again once this year -
Today I'll sing Happy Birthday
like so many years before -
Trying to fight the tears
but the battle is lost -
Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the sand -
As each new day begins
I say a little prayer30 lines, 5 comments, on May 4 9:26 AM. In Dedication to all the military and to my Son Josh a United States Marine
-
Pain in my ribs
it won't subside -
Another Mother's Day
is just around the bend -
Tears cascading, falling mind caught in space
