Dearest Diane,

These poems have been inspired by you. Please remember these things:

I love you always.

There are two poems that are yours and yours alone, and they are for you and only for you. They're not on here, and they never will be. I will keep them safe.

The rest of the poems really aren't specifically for you, or specifically about you. They really aren't. They're for everyone (and that includes you)

Inspiration of words said through me aren't necessarily exactly as things happened. For example, you don't have long hair to flick across your eyes, yet without that as a poetic device in one of the pieces it wouldn't work.

Many people have been inspired by these works, especially "My Angel". It's not for you and not for me to stand in the way of that.
