I have fallen in love with writing sonnets. These sonnets are in the order I have written them going from latest to earliest, so I hope you check out the maturity in writing as I progressed with Demented Sonneteers classes which I joined after I penned To William Thomas Kitt.

Michelangelo was misunderstood :
The art of man -- whole torso -- not just meat -
Inside a silver dome chrome-filled star ship
An angel leans over with eyes blue lake -
The Church you divide with your sharp-witted tongue
And brought down Communism, kissed one hundred -
And wishing one day to hold his manhood hands.
Under the autumn moonlight she tearfully stands: -
-
And then my angels’ messages arrive --
Your poetry penned here keeps you alive! -
Stages of pension, I am -- not passion --
Where hosts appear in dreams that I have died. -
The afternoon, time’s my eternity --
While swimming in the eyes of Aphrodite: -
I swim with Abyss as dew pained dreams drown,
As a Doppelganger drinks from my soul, -
O, wise my fertile world of wonder --
My love today -- winter cold ground under. -
While James Joyce did speak to me of the dead - -
With heart of darkness, Conrad mouths to me - - -
Last night a tolling bell rang in the skies
Life persists remembering sea blue eyes -
Raise my crystal to friends -- who did their part
By lighting my soul safely back to shore -
Through friends pennings -- I gain strength back in faith
And angel wing kisses release my pain22 lines, 39 comments, on Dec 23 5:47 PM 2004. In Personal

She sits nightly beside her daughter’s bed
In the dim moonlight, with a lowered head -
Her smiles sparkle radiant rays
Hidden beneath, the truth of abused days* -
I watch them moonlight kiss and holding hands
I think I walk away the better man -
I chose to love, is that where we begin?
At ten, as alter boy, my Soul you feed -
I plead my angels -- love is what needs sent
I wish to show someone -- another side -
I’m alive -- living twenty-two more years;
For long lost friends -- I’ve cried a sea of tears. -
To convince myself -- a mortal am I:
I add the days up in seconds of time -
‘I did not have sex with, \what is her name\?’
He coolly said as he faced his Nation -
Angels came to me – on operating day;
As I went under; to a place afar – -
I play life’s games – wonder if I will win,
Having been accused of living a sin -
The joy to become a man -- transitions
As a young maturing boy I awake -

Thank you so much for that wonderful poem you wrote for me! -
And like a true Orthodox Catholic
I cannot ask you to grant a divorce -
Or an eye twitching, -- from a flinch:
Overnight we become the town's slush -
It's time to go home to my wife
Lunar nights -- a different life -
Before she arrives and sees my life's way
I need to go out for my first gay lay -
Reciting an ancient Confiteor
Become a fixed planet – sleepy and slow -
Exactly what's my spirituality --
I pen, I write -- I reply in verses -
'\Did you ever know you were my hero\'
As you quietly embraced my journey. -
A bachelor, farmer, and provider
You split the church, became a divider -
I will roam and kiss thy earth and thy sky
To see you write another word again -
How do I wish to count my days of time,
That has been borrowed, on this dark/grey earth? -
I seriously pondered the position
And I really examined my situation -
So while I think about this indecision
Start without me and print the first edition -
How could you? How dare you? enter my life
For you are, my brother's wife. -
With a twinkle in your hazel eye
On thy lips, a drop of fun -
