These are the poems I used for a manuscript that I entered in a manuscript contest by Word Works. The winner gets published and $1500. I feel like a pygmy amoungst giants entering this. But, time will tell. I had broken this into several chapters, but chapters don't work on lists so you miss out on this.

The Quiet begin. The jets thunder
overhead and I sit. The silence expanding, a bright -
This promise strewn before me.
This blessing for tomorrow given. -
The night opens its star frosted arms.
Catches our dreams and weaves promise. -
