Haibun is a style of poetry/prose that tells a story that includes one or more haiku..... you see different versions of it around the world. It often ignores grammatical correctness even to the point of not using verbs! etc. It's kind of a diary journal style write..... in a way..... and not. The haiku are NOT summaries of events in the story... though relating to it they add to it as well. It's a fun genre...... but not really very easy to write.
