Hey, everyone.
My name is Adam and I am a senior in Highschool.
Although reading or writing poetry is not my favorite thing to do in the world, I still enjoy it very much. Don't expect me to write too much, though, as I do about once in a blue moon.
Poetry is a beautiful art that not enough people give it credit for. Maybe it's the fact a poets bounds are endless. A book almost always has to follow proper grammar and punctuation rules, along with other things books need to do. Songs are just poems with a beat most of the time. Poetry can be awesome.
My favorite types of poems to read and write are those with a meaning beneath the surface. Not necessarily a metaphor, but it could be something that touches the readers heart. That makes the reader think.
