How great is the power that we both hold in our hands
My thoughts and perversion are just a diversion
To take people’s minds off obvious submersion
I never said I lived the life that I portray
If I did then I probably wouldn’t be here today
I’d be somewhere locked up or dead from a disease
I definitely wouldn’t be on here writing fantasies
The plan for me here is to take care of business
Better my skills play the game and win this
You can take my words and spit them right back
If that’s your way of hitting me with an attack
Maybe I’m not a poet but to me I don’t know it
I just gather my thoughts, grab a pen and flow it

Ignored on October 8, 2008Hey welcome to allpoetry! I cant wait to read any and all of your work. This is a great site to just let your thoughts go and put em down on paper. Everyone here is a great person and they all are very friendly and I'm sure you will feel right at home here at AP. Never stop writing and I cant wait to read your first work!
