I have been writing since I was about eight years old, but I'm not real good at it. One day I hope to write professionally one day, but I've got to improve first. I've lived a ruff life since I was about seven. I like to write because it helps me take my mind off of all the bullshit going on around me.

Congratulations on doing just that. Hope you get to write many more on here, and take some classes from the wonderful instructor poets on this site. Just go to Learn at the top and you will see what is offered. Have taken many and have learned so much from taking them. Good to try new forms of poetry, and different styles.
