I am a construction professional, who, after a twenty-year hiatus, began writing again about seven years ago.  I have published poems in Texas Poetry Calendar 2004 & 2005, Indian Heritage Quarterly, Frogpond, the Journal of the American Haiku Society, and Lynx.  I also have poems in several online publications including Sol-Magazine, Rose and Thorn, Eclectica, Lotus Blooms Journal and Mail Call Journal as a second place finisher in their Fall 1998 History Poetry Contest.

I am an avid reader of poetry, my favorite poets include: Wislawa Szymborska, Hart Crane, Donald Hall, Federico Garcia Lorca, Pablo Neruda, W.H. Auden, Mark Doty, Adrienne Rich, Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Jane Kenyon, and many, many more.
