With all my feeling sorry for myself lately, I forgot to post one of the happy things that happened to us recently. 1 On Memorial Day my mother called and asked me if I wanted to be in a movie. In the local events posted online there was an ad about a movie that needed extras to film an audience scene for a moviby Danna Hobart on Jul 2 12:31 PM, 1,000 words. → 3 comments, Add one?

Did you ever have a day when you just could not stop crying? Today was one of those days for me. 1 Yesterday I went to the doctor and he told me that I had one of the worst bladder infections he had ever seen. I didn't even know what was wrong- I just knew I didn't feel right. 2 We woke up this morningby Danna Hobart on Jun 25 1:18 AM, In Bitter, Depression, Diary, First person, Life, My life, My own personal thoughts, Sad. 300 words. → 8 comments, Add one?

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness from the time I was ten. Up until that point, I had been living with my grandparents, but my grandmother became too ill to take care of me, and my mother moved in for a while to take care of Grandma. That was the point when she started studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. A few months back, someone I'd never heard of before pasted a poem and a comment on my author's page. His name was Wilfred John. I was impressed by the poem, but the comment seemed a little too good to me, so I picked out a particular part and googled it. Sure enough, it had been taken from an article that was postedby Danna Hobart on Feb 6 7:05 PM, In Diary, First person, Nonfiction, Personal. 700 words. → 28 comments, Add one?

Every week, when I do the shopping, I grab a family sized bag of Ruffles chips for my kids to eat with sandwiches throughout the week. A couple of weeks ago, when I grabbed the bag, it felt lighter than usual, but I didn’t pay much attention to that, until I noticed that we ran out of chips mid-week. So the next time

I comment almost exclusively on the poems entered in my contests. I find it easier than going out and trying to find good poems to read. That is why I hold a lot of contests, and quite frankly, as a contest holder, I don‘t feel I have to invest emotionally in every poem I read. I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog for a while now, so when I saw that AP now supports blogging, I decided to give it a go. I doubt that I will be writing in it every day, but at the moment, I have a lot of bitching to get off my chest… LOL Okay, my husband was laid off back in December, so moneyby Danna Hobart on Jan 21 2:04 AM, In Diary, First person, My life, Nonfiction, Personal, Thoughts. 1,100 words. → 6 comments, Add one?
