Description: Welcome to Galazon, a country made up of innumerable resources and the nobles who overlook it all. Every year the nobles gather in the capital for the social season. Business is conducted, alliances are formed...perhaps the most important alliances being of the young ladies and gentlemen wo hope to come out of the season with someone of good station and assets they can spend their lives with. It is a season of romance and beauty, flirting and dancing and politics and intrigue. and there is always more going on than can be seen by the casual eye.

Name: Elizabeth "Libby" Hartwell

Pedigree/Family: The Hartwells are a small duchy in the east of Galazon. The land is composed of farms. They have only recently attained nobility and Libby is only the second generation to attend the season.
Reason for taking part in the season: Libby hopes to find a husband of good prospects.
Personality: Libby is a sweet girl but tends to put on airs. She believes that acting as noble as possible will attract a higher quality of husband.
History/Background: Libby is the youngest of three children. The eldest, her sister, has already found a good husband during the season five years ago and no longer lives on Hartwell land. The middle child, her older brother and heir, is as yet unmarried and is learning how to run the duchy. she has come to court for the first time to find a husband and to get away from her family who she feels are far too mundane and don't understand her.

He knows his neighbors, the Hartwells, have been facing some trouble and that the family is here to present their youngest daughter to court. He hopes to corner the duke and intimidate him into selling off part of his land.
Personality: The Baron is a vicious ambitious man and looks down on "new nobility"
History/Background: The Baron is unmarried, he used to have a wife but she died in childbirth leaving only his young eight year old daughter whom he largely ignores. Instead he spends most of his time overseeing his land and attempting to get more. Over the years he has grown hard and unbending; his only loyalty now is to his line and to himself.
