2009 resolutions and things to be resolved:
1. I will discover a pattern in what kind of cat food makes my cat throw up, throw up on my carpet, throw a hairball up, or not throw up.
2. I will endeavor to buy only the kind of canned cat food that fits the criteria of "not throw up" (see #1 for more details).
3. I will keep a dream diary for at least 15% of a given month, especially on Thursday nights. (after all: aim low, score high)
4. Turn the calender page once every month, preferably around the 30th or 31st, rather than two months later on that same date.
5. I will get published.
6. When it's Dec 29, 2009, I will not go to Poetry dot com to get published. It will not count.
7. I will not break another mp3 player.
8. I will take my cactuses and plant them outside. They will have a better chance at survival out there, than in here.
9. Nights are for sleeping. Days are for not sleeping. I will endeavor to remember this when it's getting closer to being ungodly early than ungodly late.
10. On that note, sleeping less than four hours is not healthy. On a regular basis, it is very unhealthy and makes my writing fail at being readable. I will try to remember this when I have deadlines.
11. I will respond to emails, and I will have a lag in my email box that is no longer than one month. Preferably no longer than one- well, let's make it two-and-a-half weeks.
12. While writing angsty, dark journals is amusing, interesting and will gain me popularity and infamy among the populace, I will refrain from having a ratio exceeding 3:2 (three positive journals to two i-drown-in-crymzen-tearz journals)
13. I live in a computer-ridden world. Learning a bit more of java is good. I will write a useful program that will make some function of my online browsing life easier. And I will use it. And I will take over the wor-
Ahem. Moving on.
14. I will read books for pleasure. Because that's just a good thing to do. And I will find time to do this because, come on, who doesn't have that extra five-ten minutes squirreled away?
15. I will clean out the shelf and closet in my room and put stuff on it that I will actually either use or want to look at on a regular basis. (Oh yes, Harry Potter Series and Jonathan Strange, I'm looking at you. Your days are numbered.)

So that's all. Just some goals, ya/

My favorites: 2, 3, 7, and 13. IT was fun to read! I appreciate the laugh - I figure it's a good way to start the day.
I hadn't heard of a 'dream' diary before but it sounds kinda cool. I've never been very good at keeping diaries, though. I'm not consistent - I start out great and then fizzle out to where I'm only writing at times of extreme joy or extreme sorrow. Makes for an awful read, I assure you -
4, 7, 9, and 10 are all on my list =]
that whole cat thing is not good...

Wow, you have many ambitious plans! Doesn't compare to the small number of goals I set for myself
I loved how entertaining this list was
-
Liked what you have set aside for your goals this coming year ...like what you wrote here. THANKS!! Good luck with the cat food!
-
LOL I love your goals and good luck on getting published...let me know how that goes

The world will beat a path to your door if you do find a cat food that doesn't make them throw up

This list may come back to haunt you in your dreams. Hekate's wicked, making you do this. What did you do to her? -
-
I made her do the same

abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me"

Ever been to a hall of mirrors? I haven't, but I imagine it would be much like going into one of those mirrored gym rooms where two opposite sides are wall-to-wall mirror and then there's you, with your weights or your stepping blocks, reflected to infinity, front and back, until you're too small to be seen. Following my read of Hekate's "The Rating System - What I've Figured Out" I've decided to make my own journal so I can keep notes of all the spiffy features I discover and changes as the site develops.
After all, if anyone deserves a journal of their life, the site AllJournal does!

Now, this is spiffy. So as to make this a proper entry rather than me just having the irresistible urge to try this out, I'll list a few things from my life 1) The power-cord running to my laptop is falling apart and I can see shredded wires. That's gotta be a disaster in the making. 2) Hagiography is surprisingly
