The Twilight Saga sucks. Plain and simple. I am fascinated, however, at how many teeny-boppers have fallen so in love with a terrible story. I suppose the fact that they're actually reading is a good thing, but why couldn't they find good books, you know, like Ann Rice, the queen of vampires. As I tried to read Harry Potter (couldn't get past the midway point of the first book), I tried to read Twilight...stupid book by a mediocre, at best, author whose writing seems to be taken straight from the 3rd grade. I suppose I expect a lot from authors who should be entertaining me, but shouldn't books also have their certain set of accuracies? Riddle me this, since when can a vampire be in the sun? Oh, that's right, never.
Aside from the books, let's now focus on the first movie (since that was the only one I saw and I'm very sorry for that). First off, that has to be the worst acting I've ever seen in a movie, ever...akin to The Blair Witch Project, which was also quite...terrible. Face it folks, Kristen Stewart can't act her way out of a wet paper sack, and neither can Robert Pattinson or any other of the Twilight actors...and look at the raucous this pathetic book/storyline/movie series has caused! I beg of someone, anyone, what the hell is wrong with our young people nowadays? Since when did crappy "literature" take the place of great writing? I love movies nearly as much as I love books, but when it comes to this, and the Harry Potter series...give me a break, people. I will reiterate, however, I'm glad you're actually reading again...even if its a craptastic tale filled with 3rd grade level words and sentences that have exactly one noun and one verb with adjectives like "cool."
If you think I'm being too harsh, I don't care, and I probably don't like you anyway. If you think that I'm wrong...I laugh in your general direction. Do me a favor, will you? Look up some good authors, and read them. If you like vampire tales, Ann Rice is the end-all be-all for anything vampire...oh, and you should probably learn your vampire lore, for instance, if you can tell me exactly who Vlad the Impaler was, you get a few kudos, if you can tell me who Vlad was with any kind of depth, and you still like Twilight...well, you're just messed up in the head, good luck in life.
Anywho, that's my rant for the time being, do enjoy what I write and if you disagree, again, I don't care. Go read your 3rd grade level books and get away from me
