Dearest Romeo

Thy words bestow, enchantments on my heart,
My Romeo, thy heart is to be mine ‘lone.
I am thine, seeking our fam’lies departure
They wouldst leave not, if hence our love was known,

O’ fair man you are, eyes blue as the sea
Amidst your strong arms I find myself lost
Thine heart touches me, take mine my trustee!
Ne’er shall we say adieu fore’ermore, my love

Romeo thou art my world, hidden treasure,
I, love, must take thy poison to my lips
I bid thee sweet sorrows, death – our pleasure
My prince, thy lips I now drink, a deep sip

My precious Romeo, under deaths embrace;
May this dagger find its sheath, time erased

A poem that is the end result of a collaboration between SheWolfNLust and myself. We each then wrote a poem written from the other direction, from Romeo to Juliet upon his awakening from his deep sleep. Check them out, they'll be fairly obvious...lol.
