I can understand using your dictionary while writing. What I can't understand is why some people forget the beauty in simplicity. Some poems are all about the words in them. The more complex the vocabulary used, the more beautiful it is regarded. Sometimes, the poem itself has no meaning beyond a ascertaining that the writer owns a dictionary.
