i am well aware that the only constant in this universe is change but...
it can be quite frustrating when the changes occurring seem to act as catalyst for digression.
for instance:
do you remember when kindness used to be a strength?
or when a handshake and a look in the eye said more about ones character than his net worth?
remember when a mans word was his bond?
or when honnor was not just a choice word?
My contention is that there is today a widespread understanding of the need for honor, particularly in a military context, at the same time that there is a widespread doubt or suspicion about it. but every one is afraid to even use the word.
