Going to Washington DC soon. Hoping that everything will be fine... (Has a fear of airplanes...) But I'm excited.
Me, one of my close freshman friends and a sophomore piccolo player are going to play for the choir. The choir is flying us for free, paying for our meals, our hotel rooms and for just about anyother expences except for souvenirs.
There's also a prom at the hotel for the choir kids that are going to be there from the competition. AND I'm EXTRA excited that my best friends from Pennsylvania will go if I get permission!!!!
I've also been really busy in band, with UIL next Tuesday, and State coming up. Mr. G is SUPER stressed, and it doesn't help that the "other" musicians are getting bored with the music. But there's nothing we can do. I have had band sectionals out the wazoo, and this week, I finally get a break, so I have to stay afterschool to give the other oboest lessons on the choir music. That's no big deal.
I wish the other two bands in our school good luck on their UIL this week, and I hope we do ok next week.
But other than that, I'm STILL sick. I cannot drop this damn cough to save my life. I've been coughing for a good 3 weeks. Not necessarily sick, I guess... just still coughing up my lungs. YAY!
in other news, Mily has been active on the field. (Which means not getting any sleep, apparently.) Please get better, Mily. THE WORLD DEPENDS ON IT.
Love for those, (You know who...) And know I'm always thinking of you.
