I managed one that doesn't, but it isn't really a poem, its more a rhythmic story.
I think it is the associations with the words, the instantly conjour up all the other erotica you have read so that if this one is sort of shit hopefully the associations will lend it credit, though in fact it works the opposite dragging the good stuff down rather than the bad stuff up.
Have you heard of peneloping? Penetrate and enveloping mixed together, the non-gender specific, non-sexuality specific term for sex. Bring PC to erotica in a mildly clever not really erotic way. -
some subjects do not lend them selves well to poetry...99%of erotic I've read, and granted, I don't read it any more, is really quite humorous some of it side-splitting funny... especially when the writter is trying desperately to be serious...
