I'm sure you all are dying to know how my day went, and I promised the lot of you I'd write about it. Here it goes. Woke up 9 am. Got ready, got all our shit together, went to dunkin donuts. Then we hit the road, got to Cici's pizza in phoenix, and I totally stole pizza in a huge ziplog bag XD their food is so good, holy crap. Why can't they build one in tucson?! Anyways. After lunch we headed to the arena. got an amazing parking spot, headed for the festival in the parking lot. We walked around a bit, Zack played Red Faction in their booth for the game, it looks incredible. Walked around a little more, kind of watched After the Burial [wasn't really interested]. Then I called Gene about my tattoo, found out they were tattooing behind the main stage inside the arena. Went inside, walked around and looked at everything as you can see in the pictures, waiting for gene to be ready. Got my tattoo, took about 10 minutes! We went back outside just in time to see the motorcross guys tearin it up in the sky. Truly some talented guys. One was only 18! After that we watched Crooked X, they are soooo fucking cool. We met them right after, chilled with them a bit, talked, took photos, and they signed my shirt, my poster of them and signed my tattoo lol. For 14 they are surely living my dream at an early, awesome age. After that we headed for the line to get inside the main gates. Once we got inside, I got a pretzel cos i was hungry. I only had 1 donut for breakfast and 1 pizza at cici's. [thanks again zacky] we found our seats and just chilled until the show started. Lacuna Coil was up first. Daniel said they sing really softly and that they basically sucked... SCREW THAT NOISE! They were INCREDIBLE! I loved their new song Spellbound. They absolutely had the most energy of the entire show. I couldn't believe how amazing they were. I can't wait to buy shallow life next month when it comes out [it's their new cd]. Chimaira was next, I actually was very impressed. As I called it, they were epic noise. Lol. I did like their two songs i filmed though... the flame and secrets of the dead. It was pretty nifty. Killswitch was next. Holy crap, energetic, melodic, metalcore fantasy. Adam said exactly this: "Listen, girls, if I get drunk enough, i might pull a couple of you out behind the dumpster, i'm gnona take out my junk, and show you the most masculine puppet show you've ever seen. look, it's a human brain, wait, it's a spider." LMFAO. then howard was like "That's some dumb shit. holy shit." then adam said "JUNK OF SORROW LOL ARMS OF SORROW I'M SORRY" and they started playing. HAHAHAHAHA. After their amazingness of playing my 3 fav songs... This is Absolution, My Curse and Holy Diver [fuck dio, KE rules at that cover] then Disturbed finally came out. Their entrance was incredible. Mike got on the drums, started a groove. Then John came out on bass. Then Dan on guitar. [or maybe vise versa on guitar and bass] and then. And then. AND THEN. Then David came down lowered on the believe symbol, ti was so fuckin cool!!! they opened with Voices. It was great. They ended with Down with the sickness, and indestructible. I was so happy when they played The Night!!! Holy fuckkkkk. Okay. So we drove home after it all. It was so wicked. I wanna do it again soon. I can't wait for paramore and no doubt in may.

hahaha that's insane. i love their stuff. I totally jacked their pizza. XD apparently we have one in my city it's just up north a bit. not worth the gas if i have to spend more on gas then on my lunch there LOL

Hubby went to it. He had a great time. Said Disturbed had the best stage show he has seen them do and has seen them like 5 times now. That is awesometastic no? Are you gonna be at UFEST this year May 2nd? At Fear Farm?? I am totally stoked for that show baby, static x, Saliva, Drowning Pool, Chevelle, All That Remains, Steel Panther is cool too. Almost got the VIP tickets, but they were sold out before had a chance.. garr! I am so excited though. I live for UFEST! LOL Hope to see you there. If you are going.. let me know.

Yeah, idk what happened with you guys but they let us smoke and they let us bring cameras lol. It was the BEST disturbed show yet seriously it fuckin rocked.
Idk about Ufest. I love all those bands, but idk. I really wanna go to paramore/no doubt in may for my birthday. I don't think i'll have the money to go to ufest. it was already 80 for our tickets + tax and stuff so like 95, plus about $80 more for the trip. so yeah. I doubt it -

Yeah.. mikey said they let people smoke and stuff for this one.. but I am very serious that they did not let people bring that stuff in for Slipknot. Big ole sign right in front before you go in that said NO CAMERAS FOR THIS SHOW, then another one that said no lighters or matches.
Well, too bad you won't be around that day. Would have been cool to meet. We seem to keep JUST crossing paths. Kinda sucks

yeah it does suck. I gotta be good with my money though for the wedding. I can't go to every show even though I'd like to. maybe we can meet at paramore and no doubt on may 23rd or something :]
