My ante, dare you ask, is this― the first bonding of your offspring I myself commission: always will they seek the one truth and within that endeavour it is my hope that they shall also unearth some tincture of peace. Be not disillusioned, all requests must be afforded with cost or naught can attest to their worth. It was only by melding brutality to gentleness that circles of life were ever lured to dance and therefore intertwine― allotting worth always to be judged, however begrudgingly, with greed tethered to generosity, shame leading the meek and hate betrothed to love. Mourn you not for fear is not an amulet worn away by passive fingers― though ever will the ravens of atrocity muster a din more deafening than benevolence’s mild song― without their glossy black wings how might we discern those fledgling feathers of merit still yet to befall?"
