Halting Phenomenon on Turkey

Turkey.
Ugh!
My fridge is full of it! As well as soggy stuffing and rubbery gravy. Ew!
Too bad I am a vegetarian.... or I would be eating turkey sandwiches for two straight weeks like the rest of my family. Why is an ugly bird so treasured amongst families on Thanksgiving? Why not chicken? At least they look more dignified. Well, I suppose some families do eat chicken. Which costs more: chicken or turkey? I don't know... If you care to answer, do so in the comments please.
Hmmmmm.......
I do like cold mashed potatoes though.

  Turkey costs more. I find turkeys much more dignified than chickens.
