Don't get me wrong, I'm actually not a huge sci-fi fan. I get bored with the same 'we're in the future and robots and aliens are attacking!' stories. blah. i love fantasy. haaaaard core fantasy, with like dragons and epic battles against good and evil. yeah.
but it's still fun to thin about. space...
another thing that's fun to thing about.
fighting the system
like, why are families family? Ever wonder if that person you call a sibling would be in your life if you weren't born into each others? Are you guys alike in any way? Would you be friends? Your answer is probably similar to mine. Most likely not.
And what about this jail thing? Does the world matter at all? Do the authourities just have us brainwashed? As long as you don't do anything seriously bad (like killing) the worst you'll get is some time in jail. oh, woppdyfucking do. You'll lock me up in a cell till i loose my mind with boredom and make sure it's on my perment record.
do you HEAR yourselves?
Yeah. No, I'm not saying that we should all go out and break the law because it doesn't really matter, I'm just saying it's a stupid punishment.
I'm also not say we should beat the shit out of theives (though child molesters should all burn slowly) (this is coming from (believe it or not) a seriously un-violent person, btw). I'm just saying...
don't you ever think about it?
I know that I for one and COMPLETELY brainwashed. I'm scarred shitless of getting in trouble. I can't even stand to think about it. I cried walking down to the princibles office once because I thought I was in trouble. My teacher had to walk me because I was practically hysterical. And all they had to do was give me a form I'd forgotten for a field trip. Yeah. sad huh?
What about reincarnation? Do people think about that? Look at the nearest animal to you, or a pic of an animal or something. that fly by your window, your cat sitting in front of your computer screen (like mine is doing right now, lol), or your smelly dog trying to steal your food.
Ever wonder if you were reincarnated? From an animal? Ever wonder what it would be like to be one of these animals? How about not even the normal ones? Waht about one of those freaky looking things from waaaay down deep in the oceans? Like the giant manta rays or the vampire squid (seriously, there's a vamp squid. I'm DEAD SERIOUS). What it would be like to be a fly? Some flies only live for one day. Can you imagine living for one day? gives a whole knew perspective on time huh?
There's another thing. Time. Time is what we make it. Ever heard that expression, 'time flies when your having fun' ? Well that has some truth. It's all about how fast you're thinking. Like when you're listening to a song and a piece of lyric reminds you of something and suddenly a whole loooong childhood memory flies through your brain before the sentance is over. The speed of thought has no limits (its the speed of your reactions that does (for example, you may think in your head that you have to turn the steering wheel to avoid hitting that pedestrian, but your brain and nureons can't actually travel fast enough to deliver that message to your hands)). So if you're having fun you're thinking a lot of slow, down to earth happy thoughts. you're not conducting (usually anyways) deep conversations about the workings of the univers or quantom physics. your mind is slower, your precivence of time is faster. Like your mind is having big empty spaces in the seconds (thats an exageration for the example) and a thought that could only take a billisecond takes a coupld of seconds simply by the leasiure of the situation. Obviously it's not that long, more like from a octillian to a millionth. Still. a signifigant difference. So a thought thakes up more time. If this isn't making any sense think of the song again. In one lyric, 'the girl went down the slide' (Im making this up), you remember as a girl you slid down a slide, your dad caught you and you both fell over and his breath stank but you hugged him anyways and your mom came over and laughed and clapped... And only then does the song continue. In that short, short time (like, two seconds) you thought all that. think of how long it took you to read it, now just think it. don't imagine it detailedly, just think it. a lot less time. even less time when you don't have to think about thinking about it.
so, to conclude the time segment, when your mind is moving slow, time goes fast, when your mind is going fast, time moves slowly. (so when you're bored and thinking quickly withought a reference to time to slow your thinking time moves very slowly because you're thinking at miles per second).
These are all just my opinion anyways.
Hope it wasn't boring or something,
