Feeling shit

Was feeling very very confident about essay
Now feeling like the dumbest person ever
have learnt not to send to people
all i asked for was a grammar and spelling check
didn't need anything else mentioned
specially since they don't know what I am meant to be writing
or what I am learning
Or how it is meant to be written1


I only asked for a spelling and grammar check2


Now Im just about ready to delete it
and fail it
because now I feel dumb3

Why can't people just do what there asked 4

    AP is being damn glitchy for me today, so it wouldn't let me reply to your comment (jus' letting you know I'm not posting crazy).

    I think you should just ignore them then. I haven't read the essay, but if you feel comfortable with it then you should keep it the way it is. I dunno who edited it but they, like the rest of us, have a viewpoint and what they think would make your essay better is their own subjective opinion. It isn't right, it isn't wrong, it's an opinion. And if you don't agree with them I say that you find someone to just check your essay for grammatical errors, tell them that's all you what them to check for, and respectfully ignore the other person's advice.

    Like you said in your post, they don't know what it's for, how it's meant to be written, who will be grading it, or all that other important information that you know.

    If all you needed was spelling and grammar advice, just take the spelling and grammar advice. It's your essay, you know best on what it's supposed to be about!

    Ignore the idiots; they don't know what you're writing for, every teacher for every subject wants something different and alot of people don't get that -

    I had a History paper due and showed it to my English for spelling and grammar help and she tried to tell me the essay itself was wrong and I was quick to say "Yeah if it was an English paper it would be but it is History and the structure desired is different to what you'd want"
