Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.1

What is faith? Do we need it?How may we attain to it? The answer is yes we all need faith, Hebrews 11:6 Because without faith it is impossible to please God; For he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him. So we see the importance of faith and the awesome value in it.  4

Heavenly Father open our hearts and minds and grant us by your love and grace to hear your word, Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. In Jesus precious name amen.5

Faith is a treasure to be desired of,  it is like the pearl of great price Matthew 13: 44-46 Again the Kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field;7

the which When a man found it he hid it again, and then in His joy and went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. We all need faith, and I believe that true perseveres, be are faith great or small know that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. When we look into God's word we can discover some of 8

the great hero's of faith,we can examine are selves and see if we posses such precious like faith.I have to look at my own life and see to it that I seek diligently for the precious promise.9

 I am glad that Jesus is my Savior He is the only one who is able and willing to walk me through the way of faith.  10

Let us take a look at Genesis 6:9-13 The Lord gives an account of the life of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God, Noah had three sons Shem,Ham, and Japheth. Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on the earth had corrupted their ways. So said to know Noah I'm going to put and an to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 12

God appointed Noah to build and ark , he told him how to make it and Noah believe God and did what God told him to do trusting God in faith in spite of those who laugh when he warned them of the coming destruction upon the face of the whole earth. Noah warned the people of the flood,and no one believe Noah, I'm sure they heard Noah over and over again  13

One can only imagine what that was like. Noah found favor with the Lord.He did as God told him to do he and his family taking all the animals14

of two of every kind male and female, two of every kind of bird, and every kind of food. Noah testified to the vitality of his own faith of the coming destruction (see 2 peter 2:5) I'm quite sure that without faith in God Noah would not have known how to build the ark, he listen to God step by step15

and when he was finish he gathered all his family and all that God told him to bring into the ark and when the time came God open the widows of heaven and God himself shut the doors of the ark and the water-floods came. Again, I cannot imagine what that was like for those outside the ark, only eight souls were saved Noah wife, three sons, and their wives were saved. Safe in the ark Noah faith persevered in the great water-floods. God made a covenant promise to Noah Genesis 9:14-15 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds I will remember my covenant between me and you and all the living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.16

Let us therefore enter into the ark with Noah learning in faith to trust God and obey him, May we go into Christ kingdom with full assurance Romans 1: 12 that is that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. 17
