Today, I slept in again.. Until noon. What the H. I need to set a schedule for myself maybe.. I have a sticker chart going with my 3 year old, and it's actually helping to keep me on track with her. (Well besides the morning thing.. I am so not a morning person) Just saying, if I set myself a schedule, I would eventually just get used to it, and there ya go.. On track
Today is day 7 of taking Chantix (to quit smoking) and I only smoked 2 and a half cigs today. I am pretty proud of myself. The only thing I cannot stand about this little blue pill is that it makes me so nauseous... People say i have to eat before I take them.. and I have been - but still! Ughh. I think that just may be part of the package, I dunno. But I dont' like it. This is my 3rd time trying Chantix. I quit last time because my dreams were so vivid. I think maybe I am just getting used to them now, so they don't effect me as much - But this time around they seemed to have simmered down. I have decided to stick it out this time. I am hoping eventually the smokes with just taste SO bad.. I will hate the cigs Yeah.1

Alright.. Umm, Halloween was awesome, me and my daughter were matching lady bugs I haven't dressed up in years! It felt kinda good My hubby was an evil Jester.. His face was pretty scary! The older kids, Jakob and Kennadi were (j) the grim reaper, and (k) was a she devil It was awesome. We went out trick or treating with the kid's Mom and her husband. It was fun. We ended the night with a Halloween part at our friends house.. Up till like 4am. Too late.. But It was a good Halloween! 3

It has been a long time since I have life journal'd - So.. Gotta start somewhere I suppose.4

He's been smoke free for almost a year if I remember correctly

he'd been trying for years and finally it worked. he tried nicorette and commits but that was still feeding his nicotene addiction so all in all it wasn't much of a help. but they weened him off cigarettes then he got off those by chewing gum and sucking on mints when he had an urge for nicotene

OH wow! That takes a lot of good will power I supposed one the pills ween me off, I'll have to a bit of that too Good job Pops! HEHE! Me and my dad have tried to quit together for so long. he' s been smoking for like 35 years.
But the reason I am actually quitting (which I never thought of as a motivation till now..) is because one of the last things my Grandpa said to me before he had passed was that if I quit smoking by the time I'm thirty, I should be just fine. So... Sorry if that was TMI.

oh no that isn't tmi at all! thank you for sharing hun
i'm not quite sure how long my dad smoked. when i was really little he didn't, but i noticed randomly one day when i was older that he had a cigarette in his hand. weirdest thing i ever saw at first, lol. then it almost became natural. i'm really really glad he quit though, you could plainly see its effects on his body.
