I think I've decided on my list of poems for the scholarship.2

I'm not too sure why I'm even trying.
I picked all my weird dark ones cause those are my favourite. but like, I really doubt the scholarship judges like that type.3

whatever.4

I'm not sending them stuff that they'll like.
I'm sending stuff I like.
it's my poetry.
if I'm even going to try to win money for it I want it to be for something I like.5

QUESTION: should I just not send in all the ones I'm unsure about?
that's probably smarter.. ADVICE?9

    Babycakes... are you sure you wanna sent that many in?

    Did they ask for that much, because if I were a judge and I had thousands of things to read and got that; id be pretty damn annoyed.

    sometimes less is more. give too much and you come off as too needy. too tryish. too, hmm, forceful?

    Just give them three, if they didnt ask for a certain amount of poems.

      I would.. 3 would be easier
      but they want a collection OR long poem
      between 1000 - 2000 words
      >.<
      so I had to send in a bunch to meet the word limit.

        a 2000-3000 word poem?

        Thats a bloody novel.

        even my school assignment stories dont go past 900 words.
