WHICH DO YOU LIKE BETTER?!?

I don't want to submit both of these to the scholarship thing cause they're kinda similar.
help me pick one please.

diabolic.2

cancer cells divided
last night in her womb
and she woke up
pregnant with
disillusionment
hidden under
crooked fingernails. 3

when reaching
for the lamp cord,
colic captured
the left side
of her rib cage
and she was left
overdosing
on painkillers.4

when paramedics arrived
with plans for abortion
she clutched her abdomen
and whispered
something about
mutant babies. 5

they said
‘it’s the malignant ones we have to watch out for;’6

then took the scalpel
and carved out her uterus.7

anesthetics
didn’t stop her
from seeing
it
dismembered
on the floor. 8

excitement peered out of her eyes
when they stared down at her abdomen,
while white hands stroked the little cells
growing within her uterus.13

who knew that the division going on
was totally uncontrolled?
who would've guessed that
the little kicks were monstrous feet
trying to squeeze
all nutrition out? 14

or when the ultrasound
showed little veins
they were really pieces of
inorganic leafy material,
yellowed and archaic
and very ready to rot.15

similar to that movie
about backwards aging,
but here it was carcinogenic--
a mutant.17

little burrs and ticks invaded
and showed their cousins,
those maggots,
the way in.19

and while she slept
hostility invaded
so that when she awoke
a horribly ancient face,
with sunken eyes
stared at the mirror.20


who would've guessed
that this women
was the mother of cancer.
