what women want?

i was asked today by a guy at work, "what is it that women go for in a man?" normally i'd crack a joke and say the obvious but his question stopped me in my tracks. as i stood and thought about it i couldnt give him an answer even a generalized female one, and i replyed "i really dont know" at this piont i was actually quite shocked at my reply and even now i really dont know the answer, not for all women but just for me really, does that mean i have given up looking for the right guy or does it mean its now no longer that important to me, if anyone actually reads this id like to know what you think cos its left me wondering about myself lol
