The Lesson From a Tree

trees are old and wise. they have many experiences. they have lived long. their roots have grown deep. their wizened shaky heads shiver in the breeze, showering the earth with their knowledge. old these trees may be, but young of heart they are. deep in their woody flesh lies joy and hope and cheerfulness. they speak to us. beckoning to us. "come play in our branches, lay on our roots. take cover in our shade and rejoice. let go your woes, let free your worries, let us care for you while we are together. come, child, let us be in each other's company."
