 Alabama Mathfest Competition4

 Fifty four members of the MMS Math Team competed Saturday at the state-wide Alabama Mathfest Competition at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. Ten students placed as State Medalists. Eight students placed as Top 25 Finalists. In addition to the individual medalists and finalists, the 8th grade Math Debate Team was named Alabama State Champions. This team was invited to the Southeastern Regional Mathfest in Atlanta, Georgia. The Maddox Math Team is sponsored by eighth grade math teacher, Amy Holladay.  5
